Les groupes de ressources rassemblent les composants qui forment une application parmi lesquels nous retrouvons :
- Groupes de volumes à gérer.
- Adresses(s) IP à configurer lors du démarrage.
- Groupes de volumes partagés.
- Systèmes de fichiers partagés ou à monter par NFS.

La première étape consiste à nommer ce groupe de ressources et à donner l’ordre de priorité sur les nœuds.
L’écran ci-dessous montre une configuration d’un groupe de ressources RG1_PRD devant fonctionner en priorité sur ‘avqprd1’ avec un secours sur ‘avqprd2’.
