Based on your Active Memory Expansion request, a code will be provided that will enable this function on your machine. Once the code is entered, the capability is enabled and the trial period begins for 60 powered on server days. It is the responsibility of the client to activate this function on each AIX 6.1 partition in which it will be used and to deactivate the function by the end of the trial period. An IPL of the partition is required to activate/deactivate the capability. Frequent messaging will provide the customer with clear warning relative to the pending expiration of the trial period to ensure proper action is taken. To ensure compliance with these terms and conditions, the client requesting the no-charge trial Active Memory Expansion capability must agree to provide IBM and/or its partners with sufficient access to the client's machine, if requested, to ascertain if Trial Active Memory Expansion is still being used beyond the entitled period of time.
